Broken Car is Broken Heart

Car repair shops can be found almost everywhere in the world and yet there are amazing differences in the way they work: who works there and what are the pronounced and unspoken rules?  In the countries of the former Soviet Union, owning a car was anything but a matter of course, owning your own car was luxury. Since then the importance of individual mobility, and with it the importance of the repair shop, has increased dramatically. In this film we want to get to know three "start helpers" in three countries of the former Soviet Union: Ukraine, Armenia and Russia. In three parallel stories, we portray very different protagonists who, each in their own way, are committed to a better future
